PINIA BEACH – HOW TO GET THERE
This wild 3.5 km long stretch of the East Coast is located just south of the
To access the beach take D144, the Route de la Mer, at Ghisonaccia. 300 m before the waterfront turn left into a potholed piste signposted for the holiday village Perla di Mare and carry on for another kilometre until you arrive at a spacious car park zone.
To reach even wilder and more isolated areas you may continue driving via shaded tracks along the seafront where four further car park spots offer access to the beach.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Corsica’s largest maritime pine forest bordering the beach offers plenty of
shade providing perfect picnic spots in hot summer months. - Even in high season the beach never gets too crowded– you may stroll along sandy stretches enjoying the wilderness.
- Make sure you arrive with your own supply of water and food as there are no facilities provided at the beach.
- Enjoy the sun without the burn- do not forget your hat, a pair of sunglasses, and your favorite SPF sunscreen.
- Although the beach is safe for children it remains unsupervised even in busy summer months.
- The Pinia Beach is a dog-friendly area where pets are allowed.
- Numerous shaded forest paths make excellent running trails for both serious runners and casual joggers, just
be sure to avoid the hottest midday hours. - No fees are required at the car park area.
