Perfectly still waters reflect the serene surroundings, emphasising a mystical atmosphere, especially during soft morning or evening light. If you are lucky, you may even spot flamingos stamping their feet to stir up food from the mud.

Iles Sanguinaires, rocky islands located just off the west coast, at the entrance of Ajaccio Bay, are an essential natural attraction for anyone visiting Corsica’s capital city.
