Etang d’Urbinu on Corsica’s east coast is one of my favourite hidden spots to capture images that convey peace, solitude, and untouched beauty.  This vast coastal lagoon, located near the town of Ghisonaccia, is Corsica’s second largest lake, known for oyster and mussel farming, and birdwatching. Perfectly still waters reflect the serene surroundings, emphasising a mystical atmosphere, especially during soft morning or evening light.  If you are lucky, you may even spot flamingos stamping their feet to stir up food from the mud.
